Uganda Christian University, Mbale University College, is a regional constituent college of Uganda Christian University, which was humbly established in 2003 with the intention of the church to bridge the gap created between church-founded Christian schools and Christian higher education to complete the education cycle since the Church pioneered education at primary and high school levels.
A leading academic institution in Eastern Uganda today, the University College offers value-based education, we train exceptional graduates with professionalism, Christian character, and impact. We focus on teaching and learning through lecturers, research, and community engagement that drives us to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Guided by our core values of Christ centeredness, diligence, integrity, servanthood, and stewardship, we are intentional as we provide holistic education to our students, taking care of their intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual needs. The college is also equipped with a good library (and e-library) that contains relevant books, journals, and other online materials for teaching and research. The University College offers a multidisciplinary platform for studies ranging from business, computing and technology, theology, education, and social sciences. It is also emerging as the premier destination in research excellence, especially in its graduate programmes. All programmes offered are accredited by the NCHE.
