Established in 2003 as a regional constituent College of Uganda Christian University, UCU Mbale University College was founded through the vision of the Church to bridge the gap between church-founded Christian schools and access to Christian higher education. Since its inception, the college has steadily grown into a respected centre of learning that serves Eastern Uganda and beyond while remaining firmly rooted in the Christian heritage and mission of the Church.
Today, UCU Mbale stands as a leading academic institution in Eastern Uganda, offering value-based education that produces graduates distinguished by professionalism, integrity, Christian character, and positive community impact. We offer flexible study programmes, including Day, Evening, Weekend, and Recess or Modular options, to accommodate diverse learning schedules.
Our academic programmes span the fields of Education, Business, Social Sciences, Information Technology, and Theology, alongside a variety of short courses. These programmes are supported by a well-resourced physical library and e-library, and are fully accredited by the National Council for Higher Education, assuring quality and national recognition.
